Rasheida began her journey in the arts at the age of two. She began to take ballet at Mayfair Academy of the Arts. She also took dance at her grammar school Beasley A.C. as well as at Curie High School. From high school she furthered her education at Northern Illinois where she studied dance performance as well as teaching for her major. Most of her ballet and musical training come from different teachers from across world. She has studied with Melinda Wilson, Homer Bryant, Studio one, Lisa Willingham Johnson, Pierre Lockett, Geraldine Williams, Carla Gram-White, Ray Mercer and Joel Hall. She was hand pick by Debbie Allen to train in California as well as to train with The Alvin Ailey Dance Company for their summer intensive. After dancing and performing, Rasheida found a new love in musical theatre. She have starred in Bronzeville the musical, the Wiz, Ama and the Magic Toy Box, and School Daze which she choreographed. As time progressed she began to start a family. That is when she found a new love in teaching. All that she have learned throughout her life, whether its dance steps to life lessons she pour all of her knowledge into her students.
